A BRITISH COURT has jailed the leaders Britain First – Paul Golding and Jayda Fransen.
The pair were arrested in May 2017 after a ‘campaign’ led by Fransen around an ongoing trial of four Muslim men who raped a 16-year-old girl in a flat above the 555 Pizza takeaway in Ramsgate.
The four men involved in the rape trial, Tamin Rahmani, 37, of Ramsgate, Shershah Muslimyar, 20, of Canterbury, Rafiullah Hamidy, 24, of no fixed abode, and Hamid Mohamadi, 18, from Wye were found guilty of three counts of rape in May 2017. The court heard how in September 2016, the victim, who had just turned 16, went into the takeaway to ask for help.
Instead of rendering assistance, the employees of 555 Pizza took her upstairs where she was thrown onto a “grubby mattress”, “passed around like an entertainment device”, and “penetrated in every single orifice” by the “laughing” men during her ordeal, the court heard.
Afghan asylum seeker Hamidy claimed the group sex with the girl was consensual before fleeing the country.
A Judge at the case of Fransen and Golding said of the pair: “They were hostile to Muslims and immigrants” that’s ignorant and totally out of touch Judge Justin Barron.
He added: “I am sure that when Miss Fransen and Mr Golding decided to come to Kent, their reason was not that four men were on trial for the rape of a 16-year-old child.”
Fransen was accused of four counts of religiously aggravated harassment. She has been found guilty of three and cleared of one.
Golding was accused of three counts of the same offence. He was found guilty of one count and cleared of two.
strict Judge Justin Barron said: “I am sure that when Miss Fransen and Mr Golding decided to come to Kent, their reason was not because four men were on trial for the rape of a 16-year-old child.
“The reason for their decision was the men included Muslim immigrants. I have no doubt it was the joint intention to use the case for their own ends.” said the Judge.
He added: “They lack even the pretence of objectivity. I have no doubt that Miss Fransen and Mr Golding demonstrated, by their words and actions, hostility to those of the Muslim faith.
“Their intention was to come to Kent to confront the defendants in the rape trial.
“They were in my judgement hostile to Muslims and immigrants.”
Golding was sentenced to 18 weeks in prison, while Fransen was handed a 36-week jail term.
WELCOME TO BRITAIN, THE STATE THAT JAILS IT’S POLITICAL OPPONENTS
YESTERDAY, Britain became a state that actively jails its political opponents. We are no better than Iran, Russia or even North Korea – our country, a country that fought for its freedom and democracy, the freedom of political expression, actively JAILED two leaders of a political party, one that has more likes on Facebook than the ruling Conservative Party. Let that sink in.
Now, Politicalite does not in anyway endorse or support Britain First, Jayda Fransen or Paul Golding, but we believe in free speech.
Although we disagree with BF, we believe they have the right to free speech, you have to allow every side of an argument to be heard, no matter how offensive, jailing the pair is just a kick in the teeth to that freedom.
Ask yourself, When will your political views be “unfashionable?” or “Offensive?” When will you end up in jail?
By the time you come to answer that very question, I may already be too late.
