Theresa May has reportedly told the Cabinet, which met this morning, that she will NOT resign no matter how big the defeat is for her Withdrawal Agreement:
I hear the PM just told Cabinet she will push on with her Brexit deal, no matter the size of tonight’s defeat, as “it’s the only option”. A big push from Rudd/Clark/Gauke/Perry to open talks with moderate Labour MPs, but rejected by Hunt/Javid/Fox/Lewis/Truss/Williamson.

The news comes as she was further humiliated by an admission from Brussels that the Agreement gives the EU “almost everything” it wanted.
Leaked minutes state:
The Commission says that what the UK has accepted in terms of the Level Playing Field has never been adopted in an FTA before.
It’s without precedent when it comes to dynamic alignment, dispute settlement and the possibility to issue autonomous measures in case of non-compliance.
Moreover, the outline of the political declaration makes it explicit that the future Level Playing Field must build on these Level Playing Field aspects.”
They point to a continued powerful role for the European Court Of Justice in shaping British affairs even after Brexit and will further enrage Brexiteers.
