Jeremy Corbyn has quite the fan club. Earlier in the year, Nick Griffin declared his support for the Labour leader and his desire to vote Labour over its critical stance towards Western intervention in Syria.
Now it has emerged that Anjem Choudary, in an interview before his incarceration which has just ended, backs Corbyn and is tipping Labour to win a landslide election victory.
The ISIS supporting Islamic preacher who openly calls for Sharia law in Britain said that he has “thought for a long time” that there is no “voice for the oppressed” in British politics. He went onto say that Comrade Corbyn has “tapped into” frustration regarding the NHS and falling living standards.
Choudary thinks that if Corbyn drops some of his “socialist ideals” like “not bowing to the Queen” then Labour would win a “landslide”. I guess the real question is with friends like Mr Griffin and now Choudary, does Jeremy Corbyn really need enemies?
