WORLD EXCLUSIVE: Black Lives Matter’s Financial Links To The Democrats Revealed

THE FAR-LEFT Black Lives Matter movement has recently exploded onto the global political stage following the death of George Floyd at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer, leading to protests, statues being thrown down and a full-blown cultural revolution in the West, including Britain, but the movement has financial links to left-wing forces who are trying to oust President Trump, Politicalite can exclusively reveal.

In the UK the Black Lives Matter mob has even found a place in mainstream culture, being promoted on the back of footballers shirts, by celebrities and by games companies leading to backlash among right-wingers and patriots who see the movement as a ‘divisive’ force.

So who are they? If you scratch the surface then you find that far from being campaigners for racial equality there are far more sinister agendas buried beneath the surface.

Who runs Black Lives Matter?

The organisation was originally founded in 2013, following the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the killing of Trayvon Martin. It’s co-founders are Alicia Garza, Opal Tometi and Patrisse Cullors. On video, Garza admits that both herself and Cullors are ‘trained Marxists’, and both had previously supported Bernie Sanders in his 2016 and 2020 campaigns to be President respectively. Opal is a member of the Black Alliance for Just Immigration, an organisation who openly admit to being against ‘repressive immigration bills’, and advocate for more open borders on their mission statement.

Their main organisers are a Delaware based organisation called Black Lives Matter Global Foundation, INC, and are heavily popular on social media, and are currently lacking in their required non-profit charity status, and hence their donations by specific donors. Cullors is their strategic advisor, all the while Kaliee Scales is the managing director. She recently caused controversy for refusing to answer questions about the organisation’s finances and possible antisemitism in the movement.

Splinter groups

There is a more radical fringe movement here, that being the Movement For Black Lives, who are more openly Marxist than their more moderate BLM counterparts.  Buzzfeed News discussed the clashes between the two.

MFBL also openly advocate abolishing capitalism and the police as a whole, all the while advocating black separation with black only communities with their own law. The former is also adopted by many in the BLM movement and has become a recent rallying cry of the activists, leading to public figures being shamed for not supporting it, like Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey. The latter is also recommended by groups like the Nation Of Islam and similar black nationalist groups.

“There is a large coalition of groups called the Movement for Black Lives; some of the activists whose names you might recognize (like Garza) lead that coalition, but others (like Campaign Zero’s DeRay Mckesson, Brittany Packnett, Samuel Sinyangwe, and its army of loyalists) aren’t involved in it. There are no universal meetings. There is no centralized, national organization called Black Lives Matter.”

They also note that this civil war had previously been a problem in the start of Trump’s presidency, with no unity or plans to tackle ‘structural problems’ in the United States because of it, as Trump rolled back ‘progressive, Obama-era recommendations’ that they have supported. Ironically enough, part of the internal backlash also comes from what some called a ‘tyrannical element’ in it against dissent or criticism of BLM by its own advocates, all the while they were struggling with their ‘international recognition’.

Who finances these groups?

One of the biggest donors to MFBL is the Alliance for Global Justice, a leftist organisation of which has done a lot of work in Latin America and has backed various dictatorial regimes there, and have alleged Antifa links. They have also supported Islamic terrorists before in Al-Qaeda and Hamas, all the while backing Palestine in the Israel-Palestine conflict, wanting Israel’s border wall with Gaza removed. Their 2017 IRS tax filing doesn’t show what international organisations they fund. They sent $147K to MFB.

The AFGJ also receives money from various corporate donors, including the ice cream company Ben & Jerry’s, the Tides Foundation and the University of New York, among many others.

One of their notable backers is the Open Society Foundation, headed up by billionaire philanthropist George Soros. Soros has funded many left-wing causes throughout the years, including those of MoveOn.Org and Media Matters. In more recent years, he has funded BLM, the pro-choice campaign in Ireland and pro-second EU referendum campaigns in Great Britain, all the while indirectly funding the Occupy Wall Street movement back in 2011.

Other corporate donors include big banks, like $10,000 from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation, $10,000 from the Aetna Foundation, $5,000 from the Bank of America Charitable Gift Fund, $119,000 from the Fidelity Investments Charitable Gift Fund, and $21,100 from the Schwab Charitable Fund.

The earlier mentioned Delaware corporation in charge of the main BLM movement has depended on an NGO called Thousand Currents for financing, and much money also comes from merchandise sales, as encouraged on their Twitter profile.

There’s also a Californian branch called the Black Lives Matter Foundation, based in Canyon Creek, but there isn’t much information there, with only their 2017 tax receipt being available.
