U.S. President Donald J. Trump has said he’s willing to testify under oath in Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.
“I‘m looking forward to it, actually,” Trump said during a press conference at The White House.
He said: “I would do it under oath.”
Trump also said he was open to granting citizenship to DACA illegal immigrants in exchange for $25 billion to build his key campaign pledge of a border wall along the southern border of the United States.
The U.S. government shutdown last week after Trump rejected Democrat demands to continue DACA, Republicans and Democrats had a tense standoff in the Senate until Monday when the shut-down was cancelled.
Congress has agreed to extend funding for the U.S. Government until Feb. 8. Republicans promised to allow debate on the future of the young illegal immigrants and U.S. Senators began meeting to discuss their proposals on Wednesday.
Trump also set to deliver his State of the Union address to Congress Tuesday night.
