2017 was a big year for news, but often the most memorable stories of the year aren’t the ones you’d expect, Here’s our Top 5 MOST READ of 2017.
In November, ITV aired an Exposure documentary about Britain’s “far-right” and tried to smear former UKIP leadership candidate Anne Marie Watters and Tommy Robinson – it turned out, the “exposure” was an exposure of what most ordinary Brits think about Islamic Extremism
In September, we brought you the EXCLUSIVE shady past of Activate chief, Gary Markwell.
A former employee told us that Mr Markwell was a fake who used a local Conservative Association as a ‘bank’ with bogus expenses claims totalling thousands of pounds each month.
Markwell also started a smear campaign against a fellow Conservative association rival, Peter Farley as he believed it would threaten his position.
Politicalite even got hold of some very damning text messages regarding Gary Markwell’s relationship with his former ‘glamour model’ girlfriend Sabina Evangelista in which he Kidnapped his own baby.
After days of revelations, Markwell and his Ex threatened to sue us if we didn’t remove the posts…. we haven’t heard from him since.
THOUSANDS of football fans gathered on London’s Park Lane in a demonstration against “extremism” in October and Labour MPs tried to BAN Tommy Robinson’s book against extremism.
In October, the “Dirty Dossier” of MPs accused of inappropriate behaviour was read by 59,908 and Politicalite was one of the first websites with the balls to publish the list.
The list, contained in a spreadsheet, contains names of 20 ministers – it has been partially published in the press – but due to libel, it can’t fully be published and no other source has the balls to publish it – out of fear of being sued by the rich and powerful.
YOU LOVED our story on the dumb lefties who were OUTRAGED over a Warburtons loaf after Peter Kay faced a BOYCOTT by triggered Corbynistas after he made an advert for the greatest bakery in the world – Warburtons*
The proud Boltonian stars in the hilarious advert based on hit period dramas like Brideshead Revisited and Downtown Abbey and tells the story of how the companies founder, Thomas Warburton created the bread company in the 19th century.
Have a very Merry Christmas and we look forward to bringing you, even more, news, comment and exclusives via LION News in 2018.
