BORIS Johnson has sent invites to colleagues, friends and family for a “massive bash” at Chequers, and this time the party won’t be a “work event”.
Senior sources claimed that Big Dog Boris and his wife Carrie will host a July wedding party at his Prime Ministerial retreat in Buckinghamshire.
Boris and Carrie wed in a small ceremony in 2021, and planned a bigger party free from Covid restrictions.
The plans for the wedding party at Chequers, first reported by Bloomberg, are likely to be seen as Boris’ leaving do after the party gate scandal.
Boris resigned today and will leave Downing Street when a new candidate is elected.
