PRESIDENT Donald Trump has revealed he “fell in love” with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un.
At an election-style rally in West Virginia, Mr Trump said that they had a great relationship adding: “We fell in love.” …“No really. He wrote me beautiful letters. They were great letters. And then we fell in love.”
Mr Trump and Kim met in Singapore this year as part of the president’s attempt to bring peace to the Korean peninsula.
The comments are a world away from his threats to Kim at the U.N. in 2017 when Mr Trump called him “little rocket man”.
Trump opened his speech by celebrating his trip to the United Nations general assembly earlier this week. “I just left the United Nations, believe me they respect us now again,” said Trump.
He attacked the “fake news media” who he addressed again as “the enemy of the people”. and told the people “This November 6 you have a chance to reject these disgraceful political hacks but you gotta vote Republican.”
