PRINCE Harry‘s popularity has plummeted following the release of his bombshell memoir Spare – but Americans are lapping up the revelations with sales soaring across the pond.
An industry source in the US told Politicalite last night: “The reports are is that the book is bringing down Harry’s popularity but it’s selling like mad everywhere here.”
“In New York City and in one local bookstore in Vero Beach where I’ve visited today the book is displayed and is still selling like mad according to store owners.”
The book has been described as “very nasty” by a former aide of Margaret Thatcher.
Speaking to Dan Wootton Tonight on GB News, Nile Gardiner said: “I think the British public have turned Harry really into a pariah, as a result of this very nasty book.”
“I do think Prince Harry and Meghan definitely underestimated the level of backlash there was going to be.”
Speaking of the couple, he added: “I think we are seeing divisions in camp Harry and Meghan because this book has been absolutely disastrous.
“I think there will be fallout from this.”
Speaking of Meghan, he called he would “not be surprised” if the Duchess was “unhappy” with backlash from Harry’s book, Spare.
Spare is out now in all good bookstores and online retailers – with an Audiobook on Amazon.
