AN UNUSUAL amount of British intelligence agents were active inside the UK Embassy in Paris in the week leading up to Princess Diana’s crash, Politicalite can reveal.
A Royal insider, who has leaked bombshell new details surrounding the crash that killed Princess Diana and her lover Dodi Al-Fayed in August 1997, told Politicalite that intelligence agents working for MI6 were based inside the embassy of the United Kingdom in France.
Our source revealed: “The British Embassy in Paris was filled with intelligence agents that week.”
Politicalite revealed shock new details about the 1997 car crash this week and a royal insider told this publication last night that Princess Diana was “groomed for deadly details” on her and her Muslim lover Dodi Al-Fayed’s movements in days before her fatal car crash.
The royal insider also revealed a new theory on the motive of the alleged murder of Diana as it was claimed this week that Di had planned to move to Los Angeles in 1998.
Our source revealed: “One theory why they wanted Diana out of the way is whether she would have been in LA or the UK she would have always overshadowed the Queen.”
The revelations are putting even more pressure on the Royal Family as a new poll reveals more than 65% of Brits believe that the Princess of Wales was murdered.
DI CRASH TRUTH EXPOSED
PRINCESS Diana’s inner circle was infiltrated by MI6 agents weeks before she was killed in a car crash in a Paris tunnel, Politicalite can exclusively reveal.
A royal source who has leaked bombshell new details about the 1997 car crash this week told Politicalite last night that Princess Diana was “groomed for deadly details” on her and her Muslim lover Dodi Al-Fayed’s movements in days before her fatal car crash.
The claims were made following Channel 4’s controversial documentary on the Princess of Wales that made decades-long conspiracy theories mainstream.
The Royal insider revealed: “Diana’s ‘friend’ Rosa Monckton and her husband was in MI6 in 1997 and it’s likely she was too.”
“Ten days before Diana’s demise Rosa insisted on taking Diana on a cruise of the Greek island.”
“Her purpose apparently was to know where Diana and Dodi were to go next.”
“Diana told Rosa about their plans to live in the Windsor’s home in Paris that Mohammed Al Fayed owned.”
“That is where the limo was headed on that fateful night. Intelligence was primed for the route.”
The claims are true, in 2007 during the inquiry into Princess Diana’s death, Rosa Monckton was questioned about the claims and denied being part of MI6 and said she “had no connection” but later admitted that “someone close” to her “ is connected with the SIS [Secret Intelligence Service].
DIANA DEATH BOMBSHELL
A CHANNEL 4 documentary on the death of Princess Diana has explored the French and British police investigations that followed the death of Diana, Princess of Wales and revealed that Driver Henri Paul wasn’t a “drunk” as claimed by the British tabloids in the aftermath of the crash in August 1997.
Diana was 36 when she was killed in a car crash in Paris on August 31 1997 and her death has continued to attract conspiracy theories over the decades.
The first episode of Investigating Diana: Death In Paris follows the 1997 French Brigade Criminelle inquiry featuring interviews with detectives – some of whom are speaking for the first time.
Palace insiders were said to be “furious” after Telly bosses failed to consult Prince William or Harry about the series and neither has been shown a preview, sources confirmed .
The series has revealed claims that the driver of the Mercedes, Henri Paul – who was killed in the crash, wasn’t a drunk as previously reported by Britain’s tabloids in the wake of Diana’s crash.
Eric Gigou, of the Brigade Criminelle, said: “We reconstructed the route they took, tried to discover all the witnesses, anyone who could have seen or heard anything near or far, people who might have crossed paths with the car, seen motorcycles, seen something in the minutes or seconds before the crash, perhaps at the moment of the impact or after the impact.
“For us it is a race against time from the moment we were given the case, because human memory is volatile and over time memories fade.”
The episode explores the role of driver Henri Paul, who was deputy head of security at the Ritz, in the fatal accident.
It showed the front pages of many newspapers at the time claiming Mr Paul was three or four times over the drink-drive limit.
Mr Gigou said: “In France, our investigations are secret, nothing is revealed to the press. Every day there were articles with pseudo-revelations, some magazines were living off these ‘scoops’.”
Claude Garrec, who had been best friends with Mr Paul for 23 years, told how the national media treated Mr Paul “like a drunk” following his death.
He said: “It was very difficult for me but it was worse for his parents. The press came to film our grief. They believed Henri was to blame. I don’t see it that way.”
Mr Gigou said: “When you look at the CCTV from the Ritz, Mr Paul is behaving normally. He does not stagger, he seems normal. If Henri Paul had stumbled or been incoherent he would never have got behind the wheel.
“Did someone ask Henri to drive faster, I don’t know. No one knows.”
Martine Monteil, head of the Brigade Criminelle, added: “I think Mr Paul’s job was his life.”
The episode also hears from two eye-witnesses, a firefighter and emergency medic at the scene and from members of the paparazzi, who were heavily criticised at the time of Diana’s death.
Jacques Langevin, who took photographs of Diana and Dodi Al-Fayed in the car outside of the Ritz before their death, said: “Whether photographers chased the car or not, that’s not what caused the accident, it’s not true.”
