MEGHAN Markle could soon be called to testify against Prince Andrew in his alleged sexual abuse case, and royal insiders fear she could use the opportunity to “sink” the royal family, Politicalite can exclusively reveal.
The Duchess of Sussex could soon be served legal papers lawyers representing Virginia Roberts Giuffre in her civil lawsuit against Prince Harry’s uncle have suggested in US media.
Giuffre has accused the Duke of York of sexually assaulting her when she was 17 and claims she was trafficked by Ghislaine Maxwell, the disgraced daughter of former Daily Mirror owner Robert Maxwell.
The Prince, 61 denies the allegations.
“She is somebody who obviously, at least for a period of time, was a close associate of Prince Andrew,” said U.S. attorney David Boies.
“Because of her past association with him, may very we have important knowledge, and will certainly have some knowledge.” he added.
Meghan, unlike Prince Andrew, who has been hiding out in the U.K, Meghan lives in the U.S where we have “We have jurisdiction over her, added Boies.
That is what is worrying the Royal Family, insiders have told Politicalite.
Mixed-raced Meghan, who married England’s Prince Harry in May 2018, famously accused her in-laws with insensitivity, racism and of cutting her and Harry off financially when they stepped back from their senior roles and moved to the U.S.
A Royal source told Politicalite: “Many high-placed people at the Palace fear that Meghan will have an opportunity to punish the royals for the misery they caused her.”

The disgraced prince, who also stepped back from royal duties and this week lost his Royal Titles denies the accusations.
