PRINCE Harry would visit his father-in-law Thomas Markle if the Palace ‘stopped pulling the strings’, Politicalite can exclusively reveal.
Meghan’s estranged father Thomas – who has recently suffered a severe stroke has called on Meg to let him meet his grandchildren, amid growing public backlash at Meg’s “cold” lack of family support.
A royal insider claimed to Politicalite last night that the British public “still blames Meghan for not communicating with her ailing father.” and accused the Palace of ”blocking any plans“.
“It still must be the Palace pulling the strings because under normal circumstances Harry would have suggested visiting Thomas, if he were following normal protocol, or allowed to do so.”
“Meghan and Harry still need the appearance of a relationship with Harry’s relatives so that they continue to rake in money as royals, with titles.”
“It’s promising that Thomas can speak again and is getting better. His whole world would be a lot brighter if Meghan, Harry and kids showed up on his doorstep. “
Harry has already said he won’t answer any questions next week such as why aren’t you and Meghan visiting Thomas who is recovering from a stroke.
“They will head to Manchester on Monday for the One Young World summit, an event which brings together young leaders from more than 190 countries.
Meghan, a counsellor for the organisation, will give the keynote address at the opening ceremony.
They will also meet a group of summit delegates doing ‘outstanding work on gender equality’, One Young World said.
The couple will then head to Germany for the Invictus Games Dusseldorf 2023 One Year to Go event Which is taking place on Tuesday, before returning to the UK for the WellChild Awards in London where Harry will deliver a speech on Thursday”
