FREEDOM loving billionaire Elon Musk completed his $44 billion ( £38bn) takeover of Twitter Inc over night, and has fired the firms woke anti-free speech bosses behind years of right-wing censorship.
His first move was to fire the social media company’s top leadership team.
He accused the team of misleading him over the number of spam accounts on the platform.
Musk terminated Twitter Chief Executive Parag Agrawal, (pictured on cover, left) Chief Financial Officer Ned Segal and legal affairs and policy chief Vijaya Gadde, (below) according to people familiar with the matter.
Agrawal and Segal were in Twitter’s San Francisco headquarters when the deal closed and were escorted out, the sources added.
LET THAT SINK IN!
ELON Musk posted a video showing him strolling into Twitter headquarters on Wednesday by entering with a sink to bring Paul Joseph Watson’s “Let That Sink In” meme to life.
Mr Musk also changed his Twitter profile to refer to himself as Chief Twit and his location as Twitter headquarters, which are based in San Francisco.
The video showed him carrying a sink through a lobby area.
“Entering Twitter HQ – let that sink in!” he tweeted.
