Following on from the campaign to save Soldier X which gathered over 200,000 signatures, Tommy Robinson has emailed supporters to announce that Soldier X is “safe” and “staying in the military”; I’m pleased to announce the Soldier X is no longer being thrown out of the army. He’s safe — and we’ll keep an eye on him, to make sure he stays safe.”
The petition in support of Soldier X was handed into Downing Street by Tommy himself.
Soldier X was left facing disciplinary action after the Muslim Council Of Britain complained following him being pictured with Tommy in a seflie outside a motorway service station.
However, the subsequent campaign forced the British Army to back down. Concluding his email, Tommy said: “So thank you for your support. For me — and for our troops, and for our country’s freedoms.”
It’s a victory and people power has really made a difference – what better incentive to turn up to the Great Brexit Betrayal march on December 9th!
