BRITAIN’s new Home Secretary Sajid Javid once falsely claimed to have received a “Punish A Muslim Day” letter.
The former minister for Equalities used someone else’s picture of a ‘Punish A Muslim Day’ letter and posted it on his Twitter account in March.
When he was asked if he had been sent the letter, Mr Javid replied “Yep.”
The story was picked up the I, The Guardian, Daily Mail, The Times and The Independent but Raheem Kassam of Breitbart London found that the letter that Sajid included in his tweet was in fact from another user – (published below. )
Javid later admitted that he ‘borrowed’ someone else’s image and tweeted it as his own, and did not provide a picture of the letter he claimed to have been sent.
There is still ZERO evidence that Mr Javid had personally received a letter at all. Did Sajid try to play the victim? Probably.
