BACKSTABBER Michael Gove would be facing the backbench if Liz Truss wins the keys to No 10.
There’s more punishment to come for the former Levelling Up Secretary, after he was sacked by the Prime Minister last month.
Now The Sunday Times newspaper has backed Liz Truss’s opponent Rishi Sunak, Gove stands no chance of returning to the cabinet unless Rishi Sunak wins the leadership contest to become the next Prime Minister.
In the latest polls Liz Truss is leading ahead of Rishi Sunak along with the backing of cabinet members Kwasi Kwarteng, Jacob Rees-Mogg, Ben Wallace and Nadhim Zahawi.
