NIGEL Farage launched a coup against UKIP leader Gerard Batten today, over the appointment of Tommy Robinson as the UKIP leader’s special advisor.
It’s not the first time the establishment sellout has thrown the forgotten people under the bus.
In January, Farage called for a Second Referendum on Channel 5’s The Wright Stuff, sparking glee among remainers.

Mr Farage said that he would be submitting a letter of no confidence in Mr Batten, and added that he will “get rid of him”.
“Gerard Batten has got this sort of fixation with Tommy Robison, and discussing Islam, and dragging Ukip into the direction of effectively being a street activist party.” said Farage.
Asked if Mr Robinson’s appointment would kill the party, Mr Farage said: “I haven’t given up yet. I will be writing to the National Executive Committee of the party today and urging we have a vote of no confidence in Gerard Batten as leader, that we get rid of him.
“We will have one last go at getting rid of somebody who as leader is dragging us in a shameful direction.
“I’m going to fight, try and save it, but if it continues in this direction, electorally it is finished.”
It comes after the UKIP NEC rejected calls for Tommy to become a member of the party pushing the decision “Until after Brexit.”
Following this, Gerard Batten said: “I have appointed Tommy Robinson to be a personal special advisor on two subjects which he has great knowledge.
“It is not necessary for him to be a party member in order to assist me in this role. I am looking forward to working with him.”
Mr Batten tweeted: “Nigel Farage has reportedly said on the radio this morning that the NEC should hold a vote of no confidence in me. This is the same NEC Nigel described as ‘low grade people’ and a ‘swamp that needed to be drained’. I will be in the media today commenting.”

Some UKIP members have vowed to ‘rip up there membership cards’ if Mr Farage continues on this path.
Jane Aikens wrote: “I will end my Ukip membership if Farage does this.. Ukip is only just coming together because of the work Gerard is doing. Do one Nigel, you had your day.”
Many support the decision and hit back at Mr Farage on Social Media.
Daniel Jupp said: “Farage has lost it I’m afraid. I used to really respect him but he’s entirely mainstream when it comes to Islam. You might as well ask the Guardian for an opinion.”
Hettie Armstrong attacked Farage and said: “I now suspect he works for the Conservatives. He seems to be deliberately destroying UKIP’s recent rise in the polls. They don’t need another leadership election. What on earth is he thinking?”
Ian Adamczyk said: “Farage is a sellout, all talk and no action, I used to like the guy but he has no substance. Another snake.”
Paula Button said: “I was a big fan of Farage till he ditched us. How he can spout now is beyond me. He should have finished the job.”
Sue Harding said: “Mind your business Nige. You ditched UKIP & Gerard is doing a great job!”
Paul Smith said: “Nigel isn’t working and hasn’t lived amongst the people tommy speaks for. Tommy exposes the reality of the corruption something Nigel will never do.”
