Following Theresa May losing in Parliament yet again and outside the Commons a mass protest against the betrayal of Brexit this week is set to be marked by a distinct change of emphasis; to all intents and purposes, how Britain is going to leave the EU is no longer being debated but what it is, in fact deciding is how Britain remains in the EU while appearing to have left.
Responding to Tim Montgomerie on Twitter, UKIPs leader, Gerard Batten MEP said that the predicted electoral wipeout of the Tory Party cannot come soon enough:
The sooner the Tories are wiped out electorally the better.

Of course, if the outcome of next week is a General Election then this could come sooner rather than later.
Brexit has been all but terminated by a Parliament that has failed the British people. It is fair to bet that the Tories will be amoung those that pay the price at the polls.
