PRESIDENT Donald Trump’s ex-lawyer Michael Cohen has pleaded GUILTY to paying two women for their silence “at the direction of
Cohen 51, told a U.S. court that he arranged payments ahead of the 2016 election to silence porn star Stormy Daniels and ex-Playboy model Karen McDougal, his bail was set at a whopping $500,000.
A representative for Cohen said: “Today he (Cohen) stood up and testified under oath that Donald Trump [allegedly] directed him to commit a crime by making payments to two women for the principal purpose of influencing an election.
“If those payments were a crime for Michael Cohen, then why wouldn’t they be a crime for Donald Trump?”
Stormy, who was due to appear on Channel 5’s Celebrity Big Brother but reportedly pulled out due to a ‘Custody Battle’ with her child tweeted: “How ya like me now?! # teamstormy”
His sentencing has been set for December 12 under a plea agreement with prosecutors, he will most likely face a stint in a U.S. Federal Prison with a sentence of between 46 and 63 months.
