PRESIDENT Donald J. Trump has spoken for the 17.4m Brexiteers and has slammed embattled Prime Minister Theresa May’s handling of Brexit.
Speaking in the Oval Office, the 45th President of the United States revealed he was “surprised at how badly” it’s been handled.
He said that he thinks an agreement to leave the EU could have been negotiated better.
Trump, who is the master of deal-making gave advice to British Prime Minister Theresa May but said that she didn’t listen to him.
He added that the ongoing debate in Britain over leaving the European Union was “tearing the country apart.”
British MPs voted against a ‘No Deal’ Brexit last night, angering millions of Brexiteers.
MPs will decide today whether to seek a delay to Brexit, which is currently scheduled for March 29.
