DONALD TRUMP has issued a stern warning to South African President Cyril Ramaphosa as the program of farm seizures gathers pace.
In 2017-18 47 farmers will killed according to figures compiled by AgriSA, a federation of South African agricultural organisations. Tensions remain high as Ramaphosa’s ANC government drives through a program aimed at expropriating white farmers.
Trump said on Twitter that he has ordered Secretary Of State, Mike Pompeo to make a “close study” of the South African situation:
I have asked Secretary of State @SecPompeo to closely study the South Africa land and farm seizures and expropriations and the large scale killing of farmers. “South African Government is now seizing land from white farmers.” @TuckerCarlson @FoxNews

Ramaphosa accused Trump of being “misinformed”. In a official response to the Tweet, the South African Presidents Office vowed to “take up the matter through diplomatic channels.” Yesterday, Trump accused the South African government of seeking to “divide” South Africa and return it to “colonial rule.”
Trumps concern for the well-being of South African farmers is a marked and welcome contrast to Theresa May’s quisling encouragement and even financial support for Ramaphosa’s racist attack on white farmers.
