TWITTER sparked outrage among right-wingers last night after permanantly suspending the account of US President Donald Trump, the firm caused even more anger by censoring an official US Government account of the President of the United States that was once used by former President Barack Obama.
The firm was accused of an “attack on the Government of the United States”, whilst providing a platform for anti-Gay and anti-Human Rights despots and tyrants around the World such as the leaders of Iran and Saudi Arabia.
Mr Trump had vowed to remove Section 230 of the US Constitution that provides a loop-hole for private companies to avoid the freedom of expression protections in the US Constitution.
Trump said: “As I have been saying for a long time, Twitter has gone further and further in banning free speech, and tonight, Twitter employees have coordinated with the Democrats and the Radical Left in removing my account from their platform, to silence me — and YOU, the 75,000,000 great patriots who voted for me.”
He said that Twitter would not exist without the “government’s gift of Section 230.” He added that he had ‘been negotiating with various other sites’ and promised a ‘big announcement soon’ as he vowed ‘We will not be SILENCED!’
“Twitter is not about FREE SPEECH. They are all about promoting a Radical Left platform where some of the most vicious people in the world are allowed to speak freely,’ Trump managed to fit in before his tirade was quickly shut down.”
Journalist Raheem Kassam tweeted: “POTUS just tweeted from the official, government
@POTUS account and Twitter removed it.”
FAILIURE TO TACKLE BIG TECH CENSORSHIP WAS TRUMP DOWNFALL
DONALD Trump’s failure to deal with big-tech censorship ended up being his downfall and his biggest blunder whilst in office.
For years his supporters were censored, banned and de-platformed on social media and Mr Trump dragged his feet on tackling the issue of free speech on social media.
Then they started to come for the Trump-supporting mainstream media, including Rupert Murdoch’s New York Post after the newspaper featured exposes on the son of Joe Biden.
The New York Post was locked out of its account for days over their offence of reporting facts and investigative journalism.
Then, they started to come for some of Trumps closest aides, including Sidney Powell and Micheal Flynn and last night, Twitter banned the account of the President of the United States.
If Mr Trump had dealt with big-tech censorship years ago, instead of sitting on his golden toilet tweeting bollocks at 3am, maybe he would have won the US Election and perhaps he wouldn’t have had his main form of communication taken away.
