EXCLUSIVE: FBI refused Trump request to allow legal observers at Mar-a-Lago raid

THE FBI refused to allow Trump’s legal attorneys to observe the raid on the former President’s Mar-a-Lago home, Politicalite can reveal.

The raid took place at his Florida mansion, in which the President was accused of “taking classified documents from the White House”.

A source close to the former president told Politicalite that FBI agents and DOJ [Department of Justice] lawyers conducting the search may have “planted stuff” revealing: “They [law enforcement] would not allow Trump’s attorneys inside the 128-room building to observe the operation, which lasted more than nine hours.”

The 45th President – who yesterday pleaded his constitutional right to plead the fifth at a separate inquiry about the Trump Organisations business dealings attacked those coming for him – in moves only likely to boost his long rumoured 2024 campaign.

He called the inquiry “the greatest witch-hunt in the history of our country” and accused New York attorney general Letticia James of openly campaigning on a policy to destroy me.”

Whilst running for the top job Leticia openly said she was out to get the former President.

Andrew Napolitano – an American judge and media commentator also shared his views on the Trump raid telling Politicalite that “breaking into the safe meant an fbi agent was working for Trump in disguise and knew what was in it.”

The view backs claims on Tuesday in which Politicalite revealed that a “disloyal staffer” had planted evidence for the FBI to find.

A DISLOYAL aide was behind alleged classified documents at former U.S. President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, Politicalite can exclusively reveal.

The claims by a top Trump source came after  FBI agents raided Mar-a-Lago amid claims 45 had taken classified records from the White House.

The action, which the FBI and Justice Department did not immediately confirm, marks a dramatic escalation in law enforcement scrutiny of the former president and comes as he has been laying the groundwork to make another bid for the White House.

Speaking exclusively to Politicalite, the source claimed: “They [the FBI] won’t come out empty handed.

“As if Trump were stupid enough to do what they said he did. The only thing that could have happened is that a disloyal aid planted it in a box that was moved out in January of 2021.” the source claimed.

Though a search warrant does not suggest that criminal charges are near or even expected, federal officials looking to obtain one must demonstrate that they have probable cause that a crime occurred.

“After working and co-operating with the relevant government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate,” Mr Trump said in his statement, claiming agents broke into a safe during the search.

He added: “These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home, Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents. Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before.”

Justice Department spokesperson Dena Iverson declined to comment on the search, including about whether Attorney General Merrick Garland had personally authorised it.
