PRINCE Harry enjoyed a “chummy relationship” with the British tabloids and paparazzi before Meghan Markle came along, it has been claimed.
The revelation came as Harry hit back at the British tabloids in his Netflix documentary and one reporter - who has worked with Diana, Harry and King Charles claimed in the American press last week that the runaway Prince was close to several photographers and was “chums” with reporters before he met Meg and even took them out for drinks.

Arthur Edwards, the legendary royal photographer for The Sun - and a paparazzi who was said to have a “close working relationship ” with Princess Diana , and Harry’s mums favourite royal photographer - says Harry “changed” his relationship with the British press when he married Meghan.

Edwards - who also accompanied Charles and Diana on many trips overseas - revealed that Harry used to take photographers out for drinks, but this “abruptly stopped” when he married Meghan Markle.

The rebel prince, who walked out on the Royal Family in 2020 in what was dubbed “MEGXIT” turned on the British press, tabloid editors and paparazzi - with reports and a lawsuit that gave the impression Harry and his wife Meghan wanted “privacy” - a reason later denied by Harry and Meg.

Arthur, 82, said: “Meghan came along and suddenly went, stopped,” he reveals. “She didn’t want to meet us. We asked three times. She didn’t want to know.”
“And now I suspect that she had an agenda and that was always the plan.”

Edwards stresses that he “loved working” with Harry and will “miss him so much” but is clearly disappointed by “Harry & Meghan” and Harry’s upcoming memoir, “Spare,” set to be released next month.

Arthur, who is originally from the East End of London is the man behind the most iconic photographs of the most famous family in the world.
His new book - highlights his commensurate skill and unprecedented access and reveals the photos that he has captured and the candid moments when protocol is put aside, revealing the true personalities behind the Crown.
