BIG Brother bosses have revealed that they have cast housemates for the upcoming ITV2 reboot who want to take part in the iconic reality show “for the experience” rather than fame, Politicalite can reveal.
The show- that is set to premiere on October 8th across ITV1, ITV2 and ITVX is hoping to take the show back to its glory days by recapturing the original format that made the series a success on Channel 4 where it brought in a peak of 8 million viewers.
The source revealed: “By the nature of this show specifically, you’re more likely to have people doing it for the experience.”
“When we’re doing the casting, we want people that want to go and live the experience of Big Brother, rather than people who are necessarily using it as a platform.”
“We suspect a lot of people we cast will be very happy to return to their day jobs afterwards, but if we do find some new talent, then that could be fantastic”
