SAM Smith and Calvin Harris have dropped their new video for “Desire” – which has topped the UK singles chart and is currently at Number 1 in the UK.
The track has previewed at several of Calvin’s live performances over this summer in Ibiza, and now it seems that the time is right to unleash it upon the world.

The old-skool hypnotic banger arrived on last week and has stormed the more up to date and digital only UK Big Top 40 chart.
Desire” follows on the heels of Calvin’s Gold-selling single “Miracle” with Ellie Goulding, which has garnered over 2 million global single sales & 320 million streams globally across all Sony partners.

Sam posted a preview of the video to the song on their socials, and it’s fair to say that Calvin is still exploring the eras of late nineties trance and hi-NRG dance music.
“You take me higher,” Sam says on the thumping chorus, “take me away, you are my desire.” – the pair previously collaborated with the smash hit “Promises”.
According to Official Charts Company data, Promises l gained over 2 million UK chart units to date, including over 238 million streams.
Desire will be the second single Calvin has released this year – following Ellie Goulding collaboration Miracle, which hit Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart for eight non-consecutive weeks, and ranks as one of the Top 10 biggest songs of 2023 so far.
